Vabljene_i na zanimivo in poučno predavanje o duševnem zdravju, natančneje o žalosti. Predavanje bo potekalo v četrtek, 5. 3. 2020, ob 17:00 v prostorih INFOPEKE. Predavanje je brezplačno in bo izvedeno v angleškem jeziku.
Med motnje razpoloženja spadajo stanja, za katera so značilne spremembe v moči in legah čustvovanja. Kadar so ti občutki blažji in občasni, so del normalnega čustvovanja. Če pa so nihanja razpoloženja oziroma čustvenih stanj intenzivna in dolgotrajna, zanje pa ni očitnega razloga, govorimo o duševni motnji. Predavatelj se bo osredotočil na kratkotrajna razpoloženja oziroma čustva, kot so potrtost, žalost, tesnobnost, nemoč in na razlikovanje med žalostjo ter depresijo. Predavanje bo zajemalo tudi predstavitev dejavnikov tveganja, kaj lahko naredimo sami in kdaj ter kam po strokovno pomoč.
Predavanje bo izvedel Juan Moreno Moreno, ki je magistriral iz psihologije na Univerzi v Malagi. Odkar je v Sloveniji poučuje španščino in raziskuje, kako pomemben je jezik ter njegov vpliv na misli in kako lahko sprejemamo realnost ter spremenimo individualistično družbo, kjer živimo. Juan je prav tako magistriral iz hispanistike na Filozofski fakulteti v Ljubljani. Predavatelj sam navaja: » V psihologiji nisem imel veliko izkušenj, ker sem po zaključku magisterija takoj prišel v Slovenijo (ljubezen pač) in jezikovna ovira mi ni dovoljevala delati kot psiholog. Včasih se mi ne zdi pošteno dobiti denar od nekoga, ki potrebuje pomoč in nima ekonomskih sredstev.«

You are invited to an interesting and informative lecture on mental health, more specifically about sadness. The lecture will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 5:00 pm at the INFOPEKA (Ob železnici 16). The lecture is free of charge and will be held in English.
What is sadness? In what kind of situations do you feel sadness? Is it useful for something? Why is sadness good:
– It saves resources and It makes you stop spending energy in something impossible to reach (or that you think is impossible to reach);
– Good mechanism for introspection. It helps reevaluate the situation from another perspective.
– It favors social support. In a way… sadness helps you socialize with others.
The lecture will be held by Juan Moreno Moreno, who holds a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Malaga. Ever since he is in Slovenia, he has been teaching Spanish and exploring the importance of language and its influence on thoughts and how we can accept reality and change the individualistic society in which we live. Juan also holds a Master’s degree in Hispanics from the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. The lecturer himself states: “I did not have much experience in psychology because after completing my master’s degree I immediately came to Slovenia (because of love) and the language barrier did not allow me to work as a psychologist. Sometimes I think it’s doesn’t seem fair to get money from someone who needs help and doesn’t have the economic resources.”
Objectives of the lecture are:
– Normalization of my own feelings and of others.
– Sociological understanding of my own and other’s behavior.
– Tools to deal with healthy sadness and stress.
– Information about professionals that will help you in case of unhealthy sadness and stress.
– Learn how to differentiate between a healthy behavior and an unhealthy one.
