Knjižnjica tete Rose: Virginia Despentes – King Kong Theory
V uvodnem poglavju zapiše: “I am writing as an ugly one for the ugly ones: the old hags, the dykes, the frigid, the unfucked, the unfuckables, the neurotics, the psychos, for all those girls who don’t get a look in the universal market of the consumable chick, as well as for the men who do not want to be protective, those who would like to be but do not know how to do it, those who are not ambitious, nor competitive, nor well-membered. Because the ideal of the seductive white woman that we are always brandished under our noses, I believe it does not exist.”

Because the ideal of the seductive white woman that we are always brandished under our noses, I believe it does not exist. “
King Kong theory consists of seven powerful chapters in which Despentes will use biographical elements to develop both personal and more general reflections. Talking about rape, prostitution and pornography to better understand the relationships between the sexes but also the unsaid and hypocrisy of our society. To question female sexuality and the use of women’s bodies. In conclusion, the desire to turn everything upside down in order to rebuild everything outside of the actual heteronormative society.
