Merging raw, dirty post-hardcore and screamo with sophisticated dreamy post-rock in nearly 10-minute long compositions, building up dramatic atmosphere wrapped in warm authentic honesty.
Shallov was formed in a garage of Bratislava in 2013 where their first DIY release “no place for two” was recorded. Since then Shallov gained its final 3-piece form in 2015 and created their first studio album “concrete & glass“ in 2017.
Kytaro is a pseudo-exotic psych-math 3-piece from Hungary, which immediately gained attention in the European underground scene after releasing their debut album White Noise For Kids in 2019. With soul-crushing guitar, ethereal synth and drums with the speed and punctuality of a machine gun, Kytaro’s music is a journey into the realm of shadows and despair, but it also emits a strange form of pitch-black tranquility that leaves the listener with the urging need to press repeat.
The band is following the footsteps of the first EP with their sophomore album Temporary Internet Files, released in 2021. With that, the band managed to take its signature sound to the next level. Although there are no lyrics, the music still has a strong story-telling ability, and the listener will easily construct a narrative beyond words that echo in their mind for a long time.
A screamo / hardcore quartet of young men who began their screaming journey in 2015 in Varaždin and Koprivnica in Croatia. The band’s songs often border on absolute chaos, which are fed by samples and silence, interrupted by howling cries of suffering and outbursts of anger.
Their discography encompasses the EP Moments We’re Lost In (2016) and two splits: one with Zagreb colleagues from Lack of Soul (2017) and the current one with Prague’s ZMAR (2019). Last December, they went on a mini tour across Malaysia and Singapore. The performance, which is to take place on 15 August 2020, will be their first this year!
