Pogovore bosta moderirali Irena Borić in Vesna Bukovec.

Produkcija: KID KIBLA in SCCA-Ljubljana/Postaja DIVA
▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️
Opisuje tematike, kot so militarizem, nacionalizem in vprašanja spolov. Od leta 2002 je sodeloval na več samostojnih in skupinskih razstavah v Istanbulu, Ankari, na Dunaju, v Parizu, Londonu, Helsinkih, Eindhovnu in Lizboni. Skupinske razstave, na katerih je sodeloval, so: Along the Gates of Urban, K&S Galerie, Berlin (2004); An Atlas of Events, Fundacija Calouste Gulbenkian, Lizbona (2007); I Myself am War!, Open Space, Dunaj (2008); Istanbul, traversée, Palais des Beaux Arts de Lille, Lille (2009); Moods: A Generation that Goes off the Rails, École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Pariz (2010). Erinc Seymen živi in dela v Istanbulu.
Zaradi zgodovinskih razlik prihaja do odstopanj v načinu komunikacije oziroma socialne interakcije, in to vodi v uporabo drugačnih barvnih shem, slik, tipografij in sporočil.

The DIVA station is an online and physical archive that SCCA-Ljubljana has been developing since 2005 to research, document, archive, and present art film, video, and new media art. It is based on the collection of video materials within the extended concept of the national context and includes artists working in Slovenia and/or internationally.
Production: ACE KIBLA and SCCA-Ljubljana/DIVA Station
▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️
✖️ Vesna Bukovec (1977) graduated and obtained her master’s degree in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. She is a socially critical author who expresses herself in various media, putting drawing in the foreground in addition to video. She has presented herself at several solo and group exhibitions in the domestic and international space. He also works in the field of graphic design and video art curation. Since 2015 she has been an expert associate of the DIVA Station at SCCA-Ljubljana.
✖️ In the case of son:DA, it should be noted that terms such as artistic tandem, artistic group, duo, connection, etc., were not primarily used by son:DA , but by other authors when referring to son:DA; also in different sources we find different notations of the name son:DA, e.g., son:da, sonDA, sonda, zonda, SON:DA, SON:da, etc. The various designations or uses of the name may stem from the linguistic or syntactic embarrassment into which the somewhat unusual naming »son:DA« puts us. (Polona Tratnik, Catalogue son:DA, 2000–12). The son:DA art collective was active in the period 2000–15. Learn more at http://sonda.kibla.org/. In 2020 XY’s artificial intelligence took over the collective’s identity.
✖️ Toni Soprano Meneglejte is half of the former tandem son:DA, active in the Slovenian and international visual arts scene for more than 15 years. Since 2015, she has been working independently, is an intermedia artist, and her diverse practice includes photography, sound performances, space design, scenography, drawing, video, and digital projects using social media.
✖️ Erinç Seymen graduated from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts, Painting Department in 2006 and received his MA from Yıldız Technical University Art and Design Faculty, with a thesis about Bob Flanagan. He participated in conferences, and his articles have been published in various magazines on topics such as militarism, nationalism, and gender issues. Since 2002, he has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Istanbul, Ankara, Vienna, Paris, London, Helsinki, Eindhoven, and Lisbon. The group exhibitions he participated in are: Along the Gates of Urban, K&S Galerie, Berlin (2004); An Atlas of Events, Foundation Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon (2007); I Myself am War!, Open Space, Vienna (2008); Istanbul, traversée, Palais des Beaux Arts de Lille, Lille (2009); Moods: A Generation that Goes off the Rails, École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris (2010). Erinc Seymen lives and works in Istanbul.
✖️ Andrea Knezović (1990, Zagreb) is a visual, conceptual artist and a researcher based in Amsterdam, with a Masters’ degree in Artistic Research from the University of Amsterdam (2019) and a BA (Hons) in Visual Arts from A.V.A-Academy of Visual Arts, Ljubljana (2014). Her artistic research centers around value production, 24/7 temporality and neoliberalism, liminality, and contemporary ritualization in the hyper-individualist era. Knezović’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the world, including Kiribati National Museum and Cultural Centre, Bikenibeu; Nieuw Dakota Gallery, Amsterdam; NEVERNEVERLAND Gallery, Amsterdam; The Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova, Ljubljana; Škuc Gallery, Ljubljana; 12 Star Gallery, London, UK; Kino Šiška, Ljubljana; The Israeli Center for Digital Arts, Holon; Aksioma Gallery, Ljubljana; Flip Project & Umberto Di Marino Gallery, Naples; Künstlerhaus, Klagenfurt; The Center for Contemporary Art, Celje and Hanikah Gallery, Sarajevo. Her work is part of the DIVA Station video archive collection at SCCA-Ljubljana, and she was nominated for the Essl Art Award in 2013 and 2015.
✖️ Sašo Sedlaček (1974) graduated from sculpture and video at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (2000). He has received several awards and participated in numerous solo and group shows, including at the Secession in Vienna, the Sixth Taipei Biennial, the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana, the Ludwig Museum in Budapest, the October Saloon in Belgrade, Ars Electronica in Linz, Transemdiale 2014 in Berlin and the Museumsquartir (MUMOK, Freiraum) in Vienna. He has been an artist-in-residence at the ISCP in New York, IAMAS in Japan, and The Israeli Center For Digital Art in Holon. Since 2015, he works as Associate Professor at Video and New Media course at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana.
Sedlaček’s primary interest seems to be things that people overlook and the ways in which they can be made useful once again. His work is generally defined by theories of disposal and the use and reuse of cheap technologies and waste materials. His practical and humorous works result from a subversive recycling of scientific, legal, or technological facts and employing DIY (do-it-yourself) and collaborative methods.

◾️ Zoran Todorović: Nekaj panoram za eno fenomenologijo iracionalnega ◾️
📍 12.–30. 4. 2021
📍 artKIT, Glavni trg 14, Maribor
Zoran Todorović je vzpostavil kompleksno in kontroverzno umetniško prakso raziskovanja, izpeljevanja in izvajanja kritičnih (liminalnih, transformacijskih, provokativnih) odnosov umetnosti, znanosti in mikropolitike v povezavi s človeškim telesom, torej človeškim telesom v sodobni kulturi arbitrarnosti, odtujenosti in absorpcije.
🕑 Odpiralni čas: od ponedeljka do petka od 16. do 20. ure, v soboto od 10. do 14. ure
❗️ Vstop je prost. Ogled je možen skladno s priporočili NIJZ.

◾️ Zoran Todorović: Several Panoramas for One Phenomenology of the Irrational ◾️
📍 12–30 April 2021
📍 artKIT, Glavni trg 14, Maribor
You are invited to ◾️ Zoran Todorović’s exhibition: Several Panoramas for One Phenomenology of the Irrational ◾️, which will be on view from Monday, 12 April 2021.
Several Panoramas for One Phenomenology of the Irrational is realised as a fictional documentary GPS intervention that thematises some of the symptomatic episodes in the history of the attitudes that the protagonists of the artistic avant-garde of the first half of the 20th century had towards direct political action. They are marked by An Outline for a Phenomenology of the Irrational, a book written by Marko Ristić and Koča Popović in 1931, and can be further followed through the life stories of their authors, who differ precisely on the question of the way that the revolution, which they both believed in, could successfully be realised.
The work is formed around collected archival material that follows the numerous polemics that developed around the book after its publication, but especially the discussion between the authors themselves. The protagonists of the work are various theoretical and art groups that are tried by the relation between politics and art just like the authors of An Outline. The participants in the project were the Group for Conceptual Politics (GCP), Edicija Jugoslavija, Baraba Bookselling and Publishing Co-operative and the writer Biljana Andonovska, who interpreted the archival material or the authors of the book themselves in line with their own aesthetical and ideological stances.
The work is realised as a performative interpretation of collected texts in places that were important for Marko Ristić and Koča Popović, such as the Sutjeska National Park or Vrnjačka Banja, Kosmaj and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade. The gallery installation is primarily intended for an in situ GPS intervention of the public in the galleries and museums of modern and contemporary art that are directly related to the project of Yugoslav modernism and thereby with the actors of the mentioned text, who importantly contributed to the project.
◾️ Zoran Todorović ◾️ (1965, Serbia) graduated in painting in 1992 from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in the class of Prof Milica Stevanović, and in 1995 obtained his master’s degree under her mentorship. He was an Assistant at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade between 1998 and 2006, and has worked as an Assistant Professor there since 2006. Zoran Todorović has established a complex and controversial art practice of researching, developing and implementing (liminal, transformational, provocative) relations between art, science and micropolitics in connection with the human body, so human body in the contemporary culture of arbitrariness, alienation and absorption.
🕑 Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 4. p.m. to 8. p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
❗️ Admission is free. Please, follow the recommendations of the NIJZ/NIPH while visiting the exhibition.

🔥 KIBLIX 2021 / Performans 🔥
ATOM-r (Judd Morrissey in Mark Jeffery) v sodelovanju z Abrahamom Avnisanom: ▪️ Nokturno v črni in zlati (“Nežni” iteracija #5) ▪️
📌 Petek, 9. 4. 2021, ob 19. uri
S postavitvijo razkošne tradicije rhinestone kavboja ob bok zgodovini avtohtonega genocida in izgona staroselcev projekt Nežni (The Tenders) želi razviti in pokviriti kolonialne pripovedi, zasidrane globoko v ameriški domišljiji.
💥 Judd Morrissey 💥 je pisatelj in umetnik, ki ustvarja poetične sisteme na različnih platformah in vključujejo elektronsko pisanje, internetno umetnost, performanse in obogateno resničnost. Kritiški odzivi na njegovega dela so bili med drugimi objavljeni v New York Timesu, The New Republic, RAINTAXI in Iowa Review.
Leta 2012 je soustanovil jezikovni, performativni in tehnološki kolektiv Anatomical Theatres of Mixed Reality (ATOM-r). ATOM-r je premierno predstavil prvo delo The Operation leta 2014, leta 2017 pa Kjell Theøry, performans in razstavo, ustvarjeno v okviru dveh rezidenčnih bivanj v The International Museum of Surgical Science in The Graham Foundation.

🔥 KIBLIX 2021 / Live Performance 🔥
ATOM-r (Judd Morrissey and Mark Jeffery) in collaboration with Abraham Avnisan: ▪️ Nocturne in Black and Gold (“The Tenders” iteration #5) ▪️
📌 Friday, 9 April 2021, at 7 p.m. CET
We kindly invite you to join us on Friday, 9 April, at 7 p. m. CET at ZOOM for a live mixed-reality performance Nocturne in Black and Gold (The Tenders iteration #5) by ATOM-r (Judd Morrissey and Mark Jeffery) in collaboration with Abraham Avnisan. The performance will also be live streamed at kiblix.org/streaming.
❗️ The performance documentation will be later on exhibited at the KIBLIX 2021: Virtual Worlds Now exhibition at KIBLA Portal.
Does history repeat itself or do we just repeat the telling of it? Can a cover song recover something of the original, of the origin, or only bury it more deeply? The Tenders, created by ATOM-r (Judd Morrissey and Mark Jeffery) in collaboration with Abraham Avnisan, is a series of in-person and zoom-native mixed reality performances that engage with the cover song as a means of exploring the ways in which personal and political histories are written, re-written, and written over. The work juxtaposes an homage to Loy Bowlin, »the original rhinestone cowboy«, with 3D scans of the site of Fort Dearborn, an early American garrison out of which the city of Chicago was incorporated. Placing the flamboyant tradition of the rhinestone cowboy in relation to the history of indigenous genocide and expulsion, The Tenders seeks to invert and queer colonial narratives lodged deep within the American imaginary.

P
TikTok: priložnost za uspeh?
Že nekaj časa so med najbolj popularnimi aplikacijami za družbeno mreženje: Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat in YouTube, pa vendar smo se že nekaj časa spraševali, katera bo naslednja aplikacija, ki bo pritegnila množice novih uporabnikov. 📲
Spoznajte rezidenta: Danilo Milovanović
Spoznajte rezidenta Danila Milovanovića
// ENG BELLOW //

Ob vsakem srečanju bomo razvozlali dve vozlišči pripovednega kroga: Pletenje mrež in nabiralci gob, Pripovedniške spore in kartografije in na koncu Gobje zgodbe in mitološko gojišče.

Delavnica 3: MikoMitologije: Gobje zgodbe in mitološko gojišče
📍 Torek, 6. 4. 2021, 18.00
🔗 Zoom povezava: https://zoom.us/j/97644719269

❗️ Applications until 19 March 2021: irena.boric@kibla.org❗️
👉 More: kiblix.org/en/workshops
MycoMythologies: Storytelling Circle will be an on/off_line performative workshop that evokes and employs the workshop attendants’ mycelial mind through nodes of knowledge gathering practices and embodied mycology. Participants will create their own mythological, speculative stories and reflect on some previously generated while learning about World Networks Entanglements, also known as planetary biological infrastructure.
Each workshop will perform two nodes of the mycelial Storytelling Circle: Networking for Expedition, Gathering Spores and Making Maps, and finally, MycoMythological Storytelling.
The workshops will be performed by postmedia artist ⚡️ Saša Spačal and ecological artist Kaitlin Bryson ⚡️.
💻 No prior knowledge is required to participate in the workshop; only a computer, an Internet connection, any browser, and any text editor are enough.
❗️ Participation is free of charge.

Workshop 1: MycoMythologies: Networking for Expedition
📍 Tuesday, 23 March 2021, 6–8 p.m.
🔗 Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/98548892473
Networking is the first node of the MycoMythologies: Storytelling Circle. Participants will begin forming a network through an introduction to the workshop with a lecture about the enchanting world of fungi and mythmaking, as well as through the introduction of physical storytelling objects and tools that will be carried throughout the workshop sessions.
The expedition, the second node of the MycoMythologies: Storytelling Circle, will take participants off-screen and into their physical environments individually or in groups on a field exploration to collect information about fungi through writing, recording, and physical exploration.

Workshop 2: MycoMythologies: Gathering Spores and Making Maps
📍 Tuesday, 30 March 2021, 6–8 p.m.
🔗 Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/95571372062
Gathering Story Spores is the third node of the MycoMythologies: Storytelling Circle. Participants will begin gathering the foundational fungal »genetic« material, spores for their speculative, mythological story through video, audio, notes, and fictional naming.
Mycelium map-making is the fourth node of the MycoMythologies: Storytelling Circle. This node will involve map drawing that will begin to bring a new world into being by embodying speculative places and spore stories in the collective mycelial map.

Workshop 3: MycoMythologies: MycoMythological Storytelling
📍 Tuesday, 6 April 2021, 6–8 p.m.
🔗 Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/97644719269
MycoMythological Storytelling is the fifth node of the MycoMythologies: Storytelling Circle that brings all the hyphal strands of the workshop together to create a new myth or myths created both individually and collectively. This collective MycoMythology will tell a speculative fiction – a story about our world’s inherent possibilities not-yet realized – a tale of becoming connected and entangled.
Spawn is the sixth node of the MycoMythologies: Storytelling Circle, which is a short ritual or donation of the created myth to the World Networks Entanglement and MycoMythological Database named Spawn from which future participants of the workshop might source their research materials.
